WHAT WE DO
Small-vehicle transport for the students big buses can’t serve well.
Out-of-district placements, special education routes and small groups need a smaller vehicle and a driver who knows every child by name. That is our whole business.
Daily school routes
Fixed morning and afternoon runs for public school districts, on your bell schedule, with the same driver each day.
Special education
Door-to-door service for out-of-district and in-district placements, with monitors, car seats and boosters, and drivers briefed on each student’s needs.
Private & charter schools
Neighborhood pickups for schools without their own fleet, plus field trips and athletics runs for small groups.
Day care & early learning
School-to-center transfers and before- and after-care pickups, with age-appropriate seating installed and checked.
After-school & activities
Rides to music lessons, sports, camps and enrichment programs, on a schedule families can plan around.
Mid-year & emergency routes
Fast coverage for new placements, McKinney-Vento and foster-care school-of-origin rides, and routes another vendor can’t cover.

Our vans carry no more than 8 students per trip, so every child gets attention. Drivers check belts, booster seats and car seats before the van moves, and walk every row after the last drop-off.
SAFETY AND COMPLIANCE
Built around Massachusetts 7D school pupil transport rules.
No child is ever left on a JP Cruise van. The driver walks every seat, every run.
- Screened drivers: 7D certificate, CORI and SORI checks, fingerprint background checks, and a clean driving record.
- Trained and re-trained: pre-service training, 8 hours of in-service training every year, monthly safety sessions, and First Aid and CPR.
- Inspected vans: 7D inspections twice a year plus the annual state inspection, and a written pre-trip check every morning.
- Equipped for school routes: seat belts in every seat, school bus signs and flashing red lamps, fire extinguisher, first aid kit and belt cutter.
- Tracked and recorded: live GPS, dash cameras, and pickup and drop-off times logged on every trip.
- Fully insured: commercial auto and liability coverage. Certificate of insurance available on request.

Schools and families get the driver’s name, the van details and the pickup window before day one.

Pickups and drop-offs are logged, and you hear from us right away about any delay.

We started JP Cruise for the parents and school staff who need one thing from transportation: a driver who shows up on time, knows their students, and treats every ride like it matters. Because it does.
